Recently, we have had several animals that have been trapped in window wellls be brought into the center. Please take some time to put window well covers on to protect wildlife from falling into the wells.
Its very easy for an animal to inadvertently fall into the window well and then be separated from its mother, food and or shelter. If the fall doesn’t injure the animal, being trapped in the window well for too long may result in it starving to death.
Covers are very easy to install and are available at hardware and home improvement stores.
