Chickens and ducks, too

Yesterday's Chicago Journal article "Chickens and ducks, too" featured Red Door Animal Shelter, located on Chicago's north side. Red Door Animal Shelter is an important domestic animal rescue in the Chicago area as it helps species that aren't accepted by many other area rescue groups. Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation frequently refers callers to Red Door Animal Shelter for chickens, domestic ducks and domestic rabbits. We've even brought a domestic rabbit to Red Door, which they graciously accepted.

Red Door Animal Shelter is currently selling wreaths and cookbooks to raise money for veterinary and other animal care. If you're decorating for the holidays or buying a gift for that person who loves to cook, please consider contacting Red Door at 773/764-2242.
